Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the spring-stag website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this website or book our services.
Services Description
spring-stag provides guided wilderness tourism experiences in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. All services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and safety considerations.
Booking and Payment
Booking Process
Submitting a booking request through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. Confirmation occurs only after we verify availability and receive your payment.
Payment Terms
- Payment is required within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD)
- Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed
- Full payment is required before the experience date
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations more than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
- Cancellations 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund
- Cancellations less than 15 days before departure: No refund
- We reserve the right to cancel experiences due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient participants. In such cases, a full refund will be provided or rescheduling offered
Participant Requirements
Age Requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Some experiences have higher age requirements based on difficulty and risk level.
Health and Fitness
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations that could affect their ability to safely complete the experience. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we determine an individual is not physically or mentally capable of safely completing an experience.
Conduct
Participants must:
- Follow all instructions from guides
- Respect other participants and wilderness environments
- Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
We reserve the right to remove participants who violate conduct requirements without refund.
Assumption of Risk and Liability
Wilderness tourism activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to: weather exposure, wildlife encounters, physical injury, equipment failure, and the remote nature of locations. By booking an experience, you acknowledge these risks.
All participants must sign a liability waiver before departure. This waiver acknowledges assumption of risk and releases spring-stag, its guides, and affiliated parties from liability for injuries or losses that may occur during the experience, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Insurance
spring-stag maintains commercial general liability insurance and professional liability coverage. However, we strongly recommend participants obtain their own travel and medical insurance, including evacuation coverage.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of spring-stag or used under license. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.
Website Use
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
- Use automated systems to access the website
- Collect information about other users
- Submit false or misleading information
Content Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate information, we do not warrant that website content is complete, accurate, or current. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, spring-stag shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

- Acts of nature, government actions, or other events beyond our control
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless spring-stag from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your participation in our experiences, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
